Design Notes
In this project, we did not specifically design the signal peptide. Instead, we selected signal peptides with potential secretion capabilities from an existing signal peptide library based on model predictions for experimental validation. The selection and use of the signal peptide aimed to explore its effectiveness in guiding the secretion of target proteins and provide data support for future optimization.
Source
This signal peptide originates from library of signal peptides in Escherichia coli, and was used to express Maltose-binding periplasmic protein.
